People profess deep and abiding love then life happens and forgiveness is out the window. If I love you as I say I do...as Stevie has so beautifully phrased, then forgiving you is the deepest and most profound manifestation of that love!
And if you love me, you would forgive me.

As a former church pastor I can attest to the healing power of a song. This is a tremendous song and one of the best examples of how we can forgive and heal through music. We all need to teach each other to love more, give more, and forgive more. Thank you for another inspiring post.
