Day 12 - What is UN-Forgiveness costing you at work?
Hello!
If you had to place a dollar value on:
• the hours spent in worry or anxiety about stressful relationships at work/school
• the business ($$) lost due to people you ‘can’t deal with’ anymore
• the lack of staff morale/staff output due to tense relationships over past mistakes
• the lack of your output (creativity and productivity) due to unresolved personal relationship issues
• the lack of inspired customer service due to easily angered attitudes – yours & others
• the loss of customers due to staff attitudes
• the health issues stemming from angry people – stress, ulcers, pressure, etc (sick days too!)
This partial list of costs to you and your business is designed to get you to think – seriously about these issues.
1) What is it costing you and your income earning potential to hold on to old ‘energy draining baggage?’
2) How is anger – yours or staff - impacting your bottom line?
3) What type of work atmosphere are you creating or contributing to? Are mistakes allowed? Forgiven easily?
4) Is an atmosphere of creativity fostered, actively?
Reflect on these questions. Create an estimate of the cost of un-forgiveness.
Then decide how much you’re willing to loose. Make a decision about who will take control of your emotions and life – YOU or outside forces?
Today might be the day to drop the baggage and move forward into the life of your dreams.
Talk to you tomorrow!
With Love,
Julette
