A Poem - the butterfly and forgiveness

This song and poem touched me.

Be still and listen.

Be still and let life free...

Strength of the Butterfly

To the heart that’s wounded in whose life the rain seemed to have dampened your branches
I say take heart
Find the strength within you to spread your wings once again
The rainbow promises another ray of sunshine
Another day, delighted with the laughter of children from the sons and daughter’s of men
Take heart
Hold on with all you have until the wind ricochets beneath you,
The setting of another day
Who has scorned you?
Let them pass
Who have hurt you?
Let them fade into the night
But you...come forth out of the cave of doubt in to morning dew
Oh butterfly
Weary not your heart
Let not your heart be trouble
Let your soul be at peace
Let these words of life find you reclined upon the mountain of hope and faith
Oh butterfly
Let autumn begin
A touch of sunlight…to you signal destiny fulfilled
